New this edition at IDEM: The Free Communications Platform. Free Communications is intended to be a programme for researchers and clinicians to come together at to share, learn and network with dentists, dental hygienists, technicians and other dental professionals in the region. Bright minds looking to speak about their findings and techniques on a regional platform can submit their research abstracts and case studies on this page.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Submissions should fall into the following categories:
- Preventive Dentistry
- Restorative Dentistry
- Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine
Abstracts should not exceed 250 words and should contain the following information:
- Title (max. 20 words)
- Materials and Methods
- Result of the study in summary
Abstracts should be submitted in good English and standard abbreviations may be used. Section breaks are not mandatory.
Deadline Extended: 1 December 2017
Abstracts will be reviewed by an esteemed jury panel and submitters will be informed of their acceptance prior to IDEM.
Accepted Speaker Guidelines
After speakers have received a confirmation email to speak, an administrative email will follow with information on location and time of presentation, A/V equipment available and processing fees. Please read this email carefully.
A Certificate of Presentation will be given to all presenter after their respective presentation.
All accepted Free Communications Speakers must be registered as delegates for the IDEM 2018 Conference. In addition, an administrative fee of SGD 100 will be charged. All fees must be settled before the staging of IDEM 2018.
