Monty Duggal   Minimal Intervention: The Clinical Management of Caries and Hypomineralisation in Children

After gaining his dental degree and MDS in Paediatric Dentistry in India, Professor Duggal emigrated to the UK and was awarded FDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and PhD from the University of Leeds.  

He was appointed Professor and Chair of Child Dental Health at Leeds Dental Institute in 1999 where he oversaw a large postgraduate programme in Paediatric Dentistry. Professor Duggal has published over 140 research papers in international journals and has authored or co-authored several textbooks, some in numerous languages, titles include Restorative Techniques in Paediatric Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry and Paediatric Dentistry at a Glance. He is a prolific researcher having been awarded over GBP7 million in grants aligned with his clinical interests in cariology and clinical paediatric dentistry including traumatology. 

In January 2017 he was appointed as Professor in Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore.
