The use of digital technologies is a growing trend in all branches and to believe, that this won’t come to the dental clinics is a big mistake. If we look for x-ray technologies – the most of these things today is done digital. And nobody wants to return to the old methods.
It’s only a question of time, when impressions completely will be done digital. There are so much benefits, nobody can ignore. It’s more simple, more accurate, faster and the data can be combined with other digital information, for instance x-ray or motion trackers.
With the use of modern design software and fast and effective milling units the digital impressions can be directly processed and the final restorations can be produced in one treatment session.
