Sergio Piano   The Treatment of the Fully-Edentulous Patient: How to Achieve Predictably Optimal Results

Sergio Piano has been in private practice in Genoa since 1992. He graduated from the University of Genoa (Italy) in 1988. Between 1991 and 1992, he held the position of Visiting Assistant at the University of Geneva (Switzerland), in the Departments of Fixed Prosthodontics (Prof. Belser), Periodontology (Prof. Cimasoni) and Oral Surgery (Prof. Fiore-Donno, Dr. Bernard). In 2006 he became an ITI Fellow and since then he regularly lectures in Italy and abroad on surgical and prosthetic topics in Implantology. He runs the ITI Study Club in Genoa (Italy).

Dr. Piano is an Active Member of the SIO (Italian Society of Osseointegration) and also as Treasurer, he sits on the Board of Directors. He is an Active Member of IAED (Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry) as well as an Affiliate Member of EAED (European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry).

Dr. Piano is the author of several papers written in the area of Implantology.
