Please check back at a later date for further updates.

For over 30 years CEREC has pushed the boundaries of clinical excellence in restorative dentistry and technology integration. CEREC is the past, present, and future. This course is for clinicians who want to get the best out of their CEREC system or anyone considering incorporating this amazing technology into their practice. How to get beautiful fitting restorations? How to get tight but manageable contact points? How to make restorations drop right in with little adjustment? How to master tooth shape and shade so that whatever you do is invisible? How to master the surface characterization and ideal texture of anterior restorations?

Enjoy this session where we discuss tips and tricks to enhance your chairside restorations in an efficient and systematic way. We will address what makes a chairside restoration different from a lab-fabricated restoration and easy ways to overcome these differences.

Learning Outcomes:

    • Aesthetic Designs with CEREC – The direct design workflow, pre-operative scanning, preparation retraction and scanning, SW design tools
    • Ideal preparation guidelines for different material options depending on their clinical performance and scientific evaluation
    • The indirect design workflow or the mock-up workflow scanning, mock-up design within Lab 19, virtual seating, model printing, and mock-up fabrication.
    • Planning and executing comprehensive Cases with CEREC – Smile design integration within Lab SW design tools and virtual articulation.
    • CEREC to inLab how to achieve the best results in big cases.

In this session, the speaker will share with you an efficient method for reviewing CBCT scans and documenting relevant findings. He will show you various software tools that enhance CBCT scans to ensure optimal visualisation in the area(s) of interest, while clarifying which filters actually degrade image quality. A variety of pathology will be reviewed live, showcasing the techniques demonstrated during the session. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop computer so that they can follow along. Anonymised cases will be provided for the purposes of the demonstration.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understanding the Image review and interrogation
  • Optimal use of software tools for CBCT review
  • Pathology findings on dental imaging
