Dr. Jonathan Phua

Dr Jonathan Phua received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He subsequently completed his residency in periodontology from NUS and started his career as a periodontist at the National Dental Centre Singapore. Dr Phua currently practices periodontics within a multi-disciplinary specialist group and serves as the president of the Society of Periodontology Singapore. He specialises in the treatment of periodontitis, periodontal plastic surgery, implant surgery, and management of peri-implantitis. Dr Phua believes in a conservative approach and attempts to save teeth whenever possible. He has a strong interest in education and is currently a part time clinical faculty in NUS’ periodontology residency training programme.
