Charlene Goh

Dr. Charlene Goh is the Discipline Director and Assistant Professor in the Discipline of Primary Dental Care and Population Health at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore (NUS).
Her research investigates the connections between oral and systemic health, with a particular emphasis on the role of the oral microbiome—especially its influence through the nitrate–nitrite–nitric oxide pathway. In addition, she explores how innovative tools, such as mHealth, artificial intelligence, and wearable sensors, can empower patients to manage their own oral health and adopt sustainable behavioural changes.
