Enrica Sham

Singapore

Dr Enrica Sham is a specialist orthodontist with over 20 years of clinical experience, with a particular interest in digital dentistry and early interceptive orthodontics. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (Orthodontics) from the National University of Singapore and was also awarded the Member of Orthodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore and a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO).

She co-leads a multidisciplinary private practice in Singapore, where she integrates digital workflows, AI-assisted diagnostics, and 3D treatment planning to support patient-centred care. Dr Sham is also a visiting specialist in the Department of Orthodontics at the National Dental Centre Singapore, a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore, and a lecturer for the NITEC in Dental Assisting program, mentoring both dental students and allied professionals.

As the current President of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore), she is committed to fostering professional collaboration, sharing knowledge, and encouraging clinicians to adopt sustainable, technology-driven workflows.

Dr Sham is frequently invited to speak locally and internationally, sharing experiences on combining digital innovation with patient-centred care. Beyond her professional work, she contributes to initiatives serving the poor and needy and participates in church-based community projects.
