Eugene Tang Kok Weng

Dr Eugene Tang is a Singapore-based clinician with over four decades of experience in restorative and implant dentistry. He obtained his MSc in Implantology with Distinction from the University of Warwick (UK) and completed advanced implant training at the University of Michigan, USA. In 2023, he was conferred the Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Dentistry from the National University of Singapore, reflecting his clinical focus on the ageing population.
Dr Tang is Director of Aesthetic Dental Care, and a past Director at the Advanced Dental Implant Research & Education Center (AIC). His clinical interests include implant rehabilitation in medically complex patients, simplified implant strategies for ageing individuals, and maintenance-centred prosthetic design.
He has presented across Singapore and the region, including Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and the Philippines. He was Organising Chairman of IDEM 2016, which hosted over 8,000 delegates and 500+ exhibitors.
A committed volunteer since 2004, Dr Tang serves as Dental Convener of the Tzu Chi International Medical Association (Singapore), overseeing community dental services including nursing home and homebound care. He is a recipient of the Healthcare Humanity Award (2019) and Singapore Patient Action Award (2023).
