Dr. Jeanette Chua
Dr. Jeanette Chua obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne in 1998 and began practicing dentistry in Singapore. She subsequently returned to Australia to further her practice while completing a master’s degree in applied commerce at the aforementioned university. She later attended a preceptorship programme in Implant Dentistry at the Implant Department of Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry (LLUSD) in California, United States. This was followed up with specialty training in advanced periodontology and implant surgery, and a master’s degree in advanced periodontology. Dr. Chua established Encia Dental Specialist, a private practice limited to periodontology and implant surgery in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2008. She is also the Founder of Artius Group, a group that aims to provide quality dental treatment through responsible dentistry and ethical patient care. Dr. Chua is currently a visiting faculty member for the periodontal postgraduate residence at the University of Malaya. She also lectures regularly on aesthetic implant dentistry and periodontal disease. Dr. Chua is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Malaysian Society of Periodontology, Malaysian Dental Association and Academy of Osseointegration. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and has been admitted as an Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland.
