Rashid Tahir

Associate Professor Rashid Tahir is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. He graduated with a BDS (Singapore) in 1994 and earned an MSc (Distinction) in Children’s Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute, London, in 1998.
He has held several prominent leadership roles, including Past President of the Pediatric Dentistry Association of Asia and founding President of the Society for Paediatric Dentistry Singapore. He also served on the Editorial Board of the European Archives of Paediatric Dentistry and chaired the Dental Specialists Accreditation Committee of the College of Dental Surgeons Singapore, overseeing specialist registration in Paediatric Dentistry from 2008 to 2017.
He maintains a private practice focused exclusively on paediatric dentistry at The Kids Dentist, located at Camden Medical Centre, Singapore.
