Dr Yee Ruixiang
Dr Yee Ruixiang is a board-certified Paediatric Dentist accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board Singapore, a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore. He received the prestigious Ministry of Health scholarship to train at King’s College London, where he earned both an MSc and a PGCert with Distinction and successfully passed the UK Tri-collegiate MPaedDent examinations.
Currently, Dr Yee serves as Consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital Dental Service and the Cleft and Craniofacial Centre. He teaches postgraduate Paediatric Dentistry at NUS and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. His clinical expertise includes managing children with dental anxiety, complex medical conditions, cleft lip/palate, and oral trauma. He has received multiple service excellence awards for his commitment to patient care. Dr Yee also volunteers as President of the Society for Paediatric Dentistry Singapore and as a Board Member of the Paediatric Dentistry Association of Asia.
Dr Yee is passionate about pain management, dental sedation, and care for children with special needs. His research on “Ketamine Sedation in Oro-facial Trauma” won the SAAD UK President’s Best Poster Award (2017). He pioneered the KKH nitrous oxide dental service and was the inaugural recipient of the KKH ChildKind Champ Award. A sought-after speaker, he has delivered keynote lectures at both local and international conferences.
