Winston Chee

Dr. Winston Chee is the Ralph W. and Jean L. Bleak Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and has been a full-time faculty member of the Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California since 1986. He has developed and taught courses at the pre and post doctoral levels, published over 120 articles on dental materials and implants in peer reviewed journals. Have a published a book titled Treatment Planning in Dental Implants that has two editions one was published in 2007 and another updated in 2024. He has also lectured nationally and internationally on the subject of implant dentistry.
He has served on the editorial board of Clinical Implants and Related Research as well reviewed for many other prosthetic and implant related journals.
He initiated the Dental Implants Program at USC and served as Director Implant Dentistry from 1987 to 2021. He also served a Director of the Advanced Education in Prosthodontics Program at the USC Ostrow School of Dentistry from 1995 to 2021. At present he is an active faculty member in the Advanced Education in Prosthodontics Program.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, Fellow of the American College of Dentists, Member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, CAIC study club, American Dental Association and California Dental Association
