Dr. Yee Ruixiang

Ruixiang was awarded the MOH scholarship to pursue Paediatric Dentistry at King’s College London, where he passed both his MSc in Paediatric Dentistry and Graduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Dental Practice with Distinctions. He subsequently passed the UK Diploma of Membership in Paediatric Dentistry (RCS MPaedDent) and Singapore Dental Specialist Board Accreditation examinations. He is a dental member of the RCSEngland and fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore. He is currently a Consultant Paediatric Dentist with the KKH Dental Service and Cleft & Craniofacial Centre, and a part-time clinical teacher at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. Ruixiang volunteers as the Vice President of the Society for Paediatric Dentistry Singapore and board member of Paediatric Dentistry Association of Asia. As such, he is passionate about increasing awareness of the importance of child protection by the dental team, among his dental and medical colleagues. He has given talks/seminars on this topic several times to a diverse audience, including dentists, dental assistants, and paediatric dental and endodontic postgraduates.
